Our History
 

The company was founded 35 years ago and in addition to its extensive manufacturing capacity, it has developed one of the finest tool shop in Mexico through which it maintains its significant inventory of injection molding equipment at peak efficiency and can react quickly to competitive factors in the market.

Kartell’s extensive product lines is achieve using its 984 molds and 70 injection molding machines ranging in size from 50 tons to 2,200 tons with an injection capacity from 30 grs. to 10 kg., all located in its own 31,250 sq. Meters campus in Guadalajara with a 26,000 sq. meters manufacturing facility dedicated to production.

Our tool shop has a capacity to build molds of 1.5 x 1.5 mts. with a maximum weight of 16 tons.

The company is equipped with a very capable computing system, that respond to almost any design and administrative control requeriments.

Kartell currently operates on three shifts with 394 union employees, affiliated to the C.T.M. Union with which the company has had excellent relations through the years, and 140 salaried employees.

The company is capable of doubling its production with very little effort and its plans include the production of new product line into new markets, exports to North, Central and South America.
